Endless meetings are sacred rituals. Bureaucracy is enforced through contradictory decrees. Productivity is measured in increasingly questionable ways.

Corporate Realm Chronicles™: Power Play

WHAT IS CORPORATE REALM CHRONICLES™: POWER PLAY?

A fantasy office satire card game where workplace politics become kingdom politics.

MEET THE CHRONICLES

Chronicle I - Remote Toil

Chronicle II - Out of Mana

Chronicle III - The Jesters' Briefings

Chronicle VII - The Office of Unaligned Authority

Chronicle VI - The Tyranny of Deadlines

Chronicle IV - The Ravens of Correspondence

Chronicle V - The Dungeons of Compliance

Chronicle VIII - The High Tower

Remote Toil governs all corners of the Realm, where meetings are summoned, calendars collide, and alignment is pursued with relentless determination. Here, discussions continue across great distances, decisions are revisited, and productivity is measured as much by communication as by completion.

Out of Mana oversees the Realm's systems, infrastructure, and technological mysteries, maintaining order through expertise, troubleshooting, and occasional improvisation. Its inhabitants battle failing enchantments, unexplained outages, and requests that arrive moments before catastrophe.

Jesters’ Briefings transforms information into performance, where announcements are delivered, updates are celebrated, and every gathering seeks engagement whether it is needed or not. Within its halls, visibility is valued, enthusiasm is encouraged, and presentation often rivals substance.

The Dungeons of Compliance safeguards the policies, procedures, and regulations that maintain order across the Realm. Here, standards are enforced, documentation is revered, and every action is measured against the guidance that surely exists somewhere.

The Tyranny of Deadlines governs urgency, competing priorities, and the relentless march of time. Its inhabitants labour beneath ever-approaching targets, where progress is tracked, priorities shift unexpectedly, and completion is rarely considered the end of the work.

The High Tower stands above all other domains, issuing direction, strategy, and declarations that shape the Realm below. From its lofty chambers, priorities are established, visions are proclaimed, and decisions descend through the castle to be interpreted by those tasked with carrying them out.

The Office of Unaligned Authority exists adjacent to the established order, offering oversight, frameworks, reviews, and strategic guidance of uncertain origin. Its officials possess considerable authority, frequently introduce new structures, and maintain a reassuring confidence regardless of practical application.

Eight departments. Endless dysfunction.

Ravens of Correspondence manages the endless flow of messages throughout the Realm, ensuring that every update, notification, and clarification reaches its intended destination. Information travels swiftly through this Chronicle, though meaning occasionally arrives some time later.
